Marina Bay Sand Hotel (First Stay)

Today’s blog post is a review on…..

My stay with Marina Bay Sand (MBS) hotel~~

If you are a friend of mine on facebook , twitter or instagram then you would probably know that I’m invited by MBS for a free stay with them. In total they are giving me or rather my uncle a total of 4 free stay with them…. Yesssssss NOT  1 BUT 4 FREE!!!!!!! Yoohoo~ Initially we thought it was some kind of scams as the room wasn’t cheap if you have checked their website. The cheapest room which is the DELUXE ROOM would cost like at least $879 excluding GST and some other charges! Yeah its that expensive! -,- Last saturday will be my 3rd stay with them and currently the best room being allocated as it’s a suite! FYI, currently my every stay with them is in different rooms! HAHAHA

The first stay was being allocate with the PREMIER ROOM at 47th storey! OMGGGG….. Super good view facing Garden By The Bay!~
-Pic of the room-
Grabbed from the website, thanks!

As its near the mid-autumn festival so we are lucky to have a special view of the lightings and decorations! (^,^)

Didn’t really take much photo as I was busy enjoying the facilities, sorry! The best part of the room was the bathroom. A total DAEBAK for the bathroom was all I can say! Its like a princess wardrobe concept with a bathtub with both the walk in shower area and toilet being separated….. Its like walking into a room and inside the room there are more rooms (:

Remember the Heineken advertisement?  There’s this ad whereby the ladies started screaming as they walk into a walk in wardrobe whereas the guys started screaming because they walk into a walking in fridge full of Heineken. I swear I was like them when I walk into the bathroom! ( ♥.♥)/ Its okay if you cant remember or have not seen the ad, you can watch it here.

There is also a telephone beside the toilet bowl so lets say if u gets bored seating on the toilet bowl, you can call and with chat with your friend while doing your “business”. LOL. This will suits people like Heng who likes to talk on the phone when she’s in the toilet! -,-

Next will be the television program and there are quite a number of channels for you to select. Local channels, BBC, KBS,Arirang,NHK, and a lot more... so I was like switching channel here and there! ~.~

-You will be given this strap after you shown the person in charge your room details-
Sat is pink strap and sun is yellow strap! ^^

We gave the gym a miss as I was lazy to bring my sport shoes along. We decided to get change and proceed to the infinity pool at 57th storey for a swim instead as the weather these days are really unpredictable ): Btw the pool is only for in house guest so it’s a must to visit spot if you are staying with them!!!!!! WOW. The scenery alone is already a very attractive spot. GOGOGO~ Try imagine swimming on a 57th Storey and wave to the Merlion. HAHAHA! You can also order some snack and drinks in case you are hungry as there is a bar counter. There is also a restaurant offering buffet and such with lots of tourists having their meals and enjoying the scenery. It was super crowded when we went there as it was raining that morning so people rush to the pool during late afternoon... Most of the hotel guests or rather the people around that area are all Japanese tourists and when I was in the pool eventually they just surround us and started speaking Japanese infront of me as if I was one of their friends -,- HAHAHA friendliness overloaded. Most of the Japanese girls are all small sized and cute. (Super envious!)

We headed to Todai for our dinner and it was also crowded that day with alot of family gathering, collegues gathering and company dinner. Its usually not that crowded everytime we went but that day its super packed. However it has not affected us from taking our food at the counter (: Super in love with their kimchi pancake and their deserts! It’s a MUST HAVE for me whenever I visit TODAI ^^ After a meal of great food, we headed to the Skypark and pool again for digestion. And again the Skypark was super packed with tourists taking night view photo of the Ferris wheel and “half built” F1 track.

The next morning…….

We headed to the pool again!!!!!!!!! (Love the pool to the MX)
You can view the virtual tour video of the sky park here!

Had the hot spring first it was abit cold in the morning before switching to the main pool. To our surprise there are many tourists already on standby mode taking pictures of the sunrise. A kind Japanese tourist even offer to take photo for us as I was so scared that I will drop my phone into the water, many thanks! :D

This will marked my virgin stay with MBS…… *Home Sweet Home*
